📖 Qur’anic Explanation: Human Sin Brings Corruption

"Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by what the hands of people have earned so He may let them taste part of what they have done that perhaps they will return."
— Surah Ar-Rum (30:41)

Hindi: धरती और समुद्र में भ्रष्टाचार फैल गया है जो मनुष्यों के कर्मों का परिणाम है, ताकि अल्लाह उन्हें उनके कर्मों का स्वाद चखा सके, ताकि वे तौबा कर सकें।

This verse clearly shows that human disobedience, injustice, and rejection of divine guidance cause corruption and calamities in the world — not only spiritually, but also physically.

"So each We seized for his sin; among them were those upon whom We sent a storm of stones, and among them were those seized by a blast, and among them were those whom We caused the earth to swallow, and among them were those We drowned..."

Hindi: तो हर एक को उसके अपराध के कारण हमने पकड़ लिया — कुछ पर हमने पत्थरों की बारिश बरसाई, कुछ को एक जोरदार आघात ने पकड़ लिया, कुछ को हमने धरती में धँसा दिया और कुछ को हमने डुबो दिया।

These are not myths — they are divine truths and eternal warnings that when people reject Allah, He shows them His power through calamity.

Today, many nations — despite their progress — have abandoned the path of Allah. Immorality, injustice, and arrogance are widespread. They legislate against what Allah has made sacred, and the result is internal decay and external disasters.

"And when he turns away, he strives throughout the land to cause corruption therein and destroy crops and animals. And Allah does not like corruption."
— Surah Al-Baqarah (2:205)

Hindi: और जब वह मुँह फेर लेता है (हिदायत से), तो वह धरती में फसाद फैलाने और फसल व संतानों को नष्ट करने का प्रयास करता है; और अल्लाह भ्रष्टाचार को पसंद नहीं करता।

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"When sin becomes widespread in a nation, and people commit it openly, then Allah sends upon them such punishments which do not spare even the righteous among them."
— Sahih al-Bukhari

This hadith warns us that open sin brings widespread punishment — affecting even those who are not directly responsible.

"The Last Hour will not come until there will be years of deceit... rain will be withheld, and the earth will yield no produce."
— Sunan Ibn Majah

Even the Muslim world is not safe from disaster when the Ummah neglects its responsibilities — abandoning the Qur’an, delaying Salah, imitating un-Islamic ways, and forgetting Allah.

"If the people of the towns had believed and had taqwa (God-consciousness), We would have opened for them blessings from the heavens and the earth..."

"And Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness."
